Scholarship Details
In loving memory of Alec, AFYSSC awarded two $2,000 scholarships and four $500 scholarships to students who best demonstrated an appreciation for the impact of sports in their lives, who have a continued commitment to athletics, and support making sports accessible to more youth in the future.
This memorial scholarship was introduced this year to coincide with what would have been Alec’s senior year. It is our honor to support Alec's classmates, teammates, friends, and peers in pursuing their goals in his memory.
Eligibility criteria:

Attended high school in Sutter, Yuba or Colusa counties.

Participated in youth or high school sports.

Plan to begin or continue post-secondary education program (college, trade, certificate) in 2024-25.
